Exams and Teeth Cleanings
At each new patient and following recare visit your child will have their teeth cleaned and examined. After the cleaning a fluoride coating will be applied to protect the teeth from decay. If recommended by the doctor, X-rays will be taken to evaluate areas that can not be diagnosed visually.
Orthodontics
Our orthodontic team uses traditional brackets, ceramic brackets or clear aligner technology (like Invisalign) to offer many options in the correction of malocclusions (unhealthy bites). As pediatric specialists we are experts at helping children in the early growth and development stage avoid more complex treatment later. We also can treat adults who are looking to correct any issues that were not addressed when they were younger.
Prevention and Restorations
We offer various prevention techniques to prevent and arrest decay. We use Silver Diamine Fluoride, Dental Sealants, Resin reinforced glass ionomer restorations and other minimally invasive techniques to prevent decay or limit its spread. If restorations (fillings) are needed we have the most advanced materials to bond tooth colored composite resin to replace the decayed tooth structure.
Nitrous Oxide, Oral Sedation and Deep Sedation
We understand that dental treatment can cause apprehension in some patients, or that some patients need more advanced care than they are able to cooperate for at their age. We offer inhaled Nitrous Oxide to reduce mild anxiety. For patients who need more help, we offer oral sedation medications or Deep Sedation with a dental anesthesiologist administering the medications.
